For as long as I can remember I have always enjoyed baking right from scratch.
I have always believed in using natural ingredients and those that are of the
highest quality.
Several years ago a special little boy in my life was diagnosed with autism and
also the inability to digest wheat (gluten) or dairy (casein). I began to research
gluten and casein and realized that either or both are in almost every food such
as cookies, bread, pancakes, cake… the list is endless.
Since baking has been a way that I express love to those around me I decided to
experiment in the kitchen to make a great tasting gluten and casein free cookie
that I could offer to my little friend.
My first success came with my chocolate chip cookie – it was a huge hit!
Before long I was known as the “cookie” lady and people were asking
to buy my cookies – that is how Aunt Candice’s Foods began. We wanted
to be able to offer a variety of cookies and mixes to those who cannot have gluten
or casein and to bring joy back into their life!
Our products are gluten and casein free and also soy, corn, peanut and yeast free!
We use the best ingredients and do not use any preservatives, artificial flavorings
or hydrogenated fats.
Everyone will benefit by eating our products even if you do not have a food intolerance
or allergy to gluten or casein.
